Quote Is an Estimate. The initial repair quote provided is based solely on the description and any photos you submit. It is an estimate only. The final repair price will be confirmed after our certified jeweler physically inspects your piece. The final price may be higher or lower than the original quote depending on the actual condition, materials needed, and scope of work required.
No Work Begins Without Your Approval. We will never begin any repair, modification, or alteration to your piece until you have reviewed and approved the final scope of work and price. If the final price differs from the initial quote, you will be notified and given the option to approve, modify, or decline the repair.
We Do Not Alter Items Beyond the Approved Repair. Your piece will only be worked on within the exact scope you approve. We do not make any changes, modifications, or alterations beyond the agreed-upon repair. If additional work is discovered during inspection (e.g. a second loose stone), we will notify you and request separate approval before proceeding.
Stone & Material Limitations. If your repair involves stone replacement, we will match the stone type, cut, and size as closely as possible. However, exact matches may not always be available for vintage, antique, or rare stones. We will communicate any limitations and alternatives before proceeding. Original stones removed during repair will be returned to you.
Repair Timelines Are Estimates. Estimated turnaround times (typically 7–10 business days after receipt) may vary depending on repair complexity, parts availability, or unforeseen issues discovered during inspection. We will notify you of any significant delays.
Assumption of Risk During Repair. While we take every precaution and work with certified professionals, certain repairs carry inherent risks (e.g. antique or fragile pieces, heat-sensitive stones). We will disclose any known risks before you approve the repair. Items are insured up to $100,000 during transit.
Free Returns If Declined. If you choose not to proceed with the repair at any point — whether after the initial quote or after physical inspection — we will return your piece at no cost to you via insured FedEx shipping, in the same condition it was received.
